What a wonderful day we had as a family. Lots of Laughter and Gift Giving, Food, Food and more Food. We are very grateful to live in such a great country with such a mild climate. Christmas is for Children and the enjoyment they get leaves the adults entertained. Such great fun.
Next year we will have two more babies joining our family so there will be celebrations through 2010 as our babies greet the world. How our lives change as the years go by. Being a Grandparent is certainly rewarding and you realise the knowledge you can share with them will give them wisdom as they grow and venture out into the world.
I love the children’s honesty as well as their humour that transfers into delight as they play and develop new interests and entertain each other. My elderly parents also enjoy their Great Grandchildren and that is such a major part of their lives to interact with Lexie, Tia and Eric.
We must not forget those who are in need at Christmas. On Christmas night I saw a programme called Tear Australia. It is well worth a look www.tear.org.au This is something I will participate in as it is of great benefit to people who need help to establish themselves. There are many ways to give I realise this is just one but one I felt comfortable with.
